Hosting exciting events leading up to the 64th annual Great American Race; Fully open front stretch seating, camping, dining, and pre-race experiences

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (January 6, 2022) - The DAYTONA Speedweeks Presented by AdventHealth, which will culminate on Sunday, February 20 with the 64th annual DAYTONA 500, will start on Tuesday and Wednesday (February 15-16) with the DAYTONA 500 training and the DAYTONA 500 Qualifying Presented By Busch. Light on the Track, which gives fans more opportunities to see NASCAR's new, anticipated "Next Gen" cars on the high banks of the World Center of Racing.

Tuesday, the first of six days of full activity on the track, features two 50-minute workouts (5:05 p.m. ET / 6:35 p.m. ET) for NASCAR Cup Series teams to get started on Wednesday's run in the top flight prepare the spot that will take place at 8:05 p.m. ET. Infield camping guests have free entry to the UNOH fan zone on Tuesday (opens at 4:00 p.m. ET), which will also host a concert (artist named later) after the activities on the route are over. Front stretch seating isn't offered, but fans interested in joining Tuesday's activities can purchase general admission tickets for $ 20 to the Fan Zone, where spectators can get up close and personal with the teams and drivers working on the incredible machines can look at. Children up to 12 years are free.

Wednesday offers fans two unique opportunities to watch NASCAR's best game against the clock at the 2.5-mile, 31-degree iconic venue. Levels 100, 300 and 400 of the Axalta Injector have great front stretch seating (opens at 7 p.m.) and a great view ($ 20), while the UNOH fan zone (opens at 6 p.m.) is open again for infield campers that evening . Children up to 12 years are free again. Hendrick Motorsports teammates Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman top the list of active drivers with two top spots for the DAYTONA 500.

The Next Gen Cup cars will also be in action on Thursday, February 17, during the Bluegreen Vacations Duel At DAYTONA qualifying race, plus two additional 50-minute workouts on Friday (February 18) evening (6:00 p.m. ET ) and Saturday morning (10:30 a.m. ET) before the DAYTONA 500 flies the green flag. The redesigned cars for 2022 will give drivers more control and will again focus on racing strategies, team personnel and vehicle setups when the stock car is returned 'look at NASCAR. The cars will have great racing for the fans, incorporate relevant technology and look more like road vehicles.

The NextEra Energy 250 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will take place on Friday, while a double header with the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire for the ARCA Menards Series and the beef will take place on Saturday, February 19. It's something for dinner. 300 for the NASCAR Xfinity series. Training sessions will also take place in the run-up to these four races.   • Thursday, February 17: Bluegreen Vacations Duel at the DAYTONA Qualifying Races (7:00 PM ET); NASCAR Camping World Truck Series training (4:35 p.m. ET) & ARCA Menards Series training (5:30 p.m. ET).
  • Friday, February 18: NextEra Energy 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race (7:30 p.m. ET); ARCA Menards (1:30 p.m. ET) and Camping World Truck Series Qualifying (3:00 p.m. ET); NASCAR Cup Series training (6:00 p.m. ET).
  • Saturday, February 19: Lucas Oil 200 Driven By General Tire ARCA Menards Race (1:30 p.m. ET) and Beef. It's something for dinner. 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series event (5:00 p.m. ET); NASCAR Cup Series Final Practice (10:30 AM ET); NASCAR Xfinity Series Qualification (11:35 a.m. ET).
  • Sunday, February 20: DAYTONA 500, The Great American Race (2:30 p.m. ET).
