Merch Madness: Wearable Technology, Theme Park Gear, and Tons of Toys

It's no secret that Wizarding World has a lot of merchandise, but is it possible to have too much? With all sorts of great items in this issue of Merch Madness, we feel like you might want to do a little shopping.

Harry Potter goods from Aldi

First up is Aldi, where UK website Tyla reports that fans can find lots of magical merchandise at huge discounts. Although the first Specialbuys offer was from last month, it appears that many of the items are still available on Aldi's UK website! With everything from dolls and Fat Quarters made from Wizarding World cloth to a box containing the Harry Potter books or films, there is no shortage of great products.

Also, as mentioned in a separate article from Bustle, Aldi is now selling the Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak in the UK. While it's not exactly magical, it's pretty close; The coat works with an app that allows users to make it look like they're gone. Unfortunately, at the time of publication on Aldi's website, the cape appears to be sold out. (We have already reported on the same toy, however.)

OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Edition

If you're looking for a more subtle wearable tech, 9to5Google reports that the OnePlus Watch will get a Harry Potter edition.

There is something pretty interesting behind the scenes, however. A collection of watch faces within the app indicates that a new OnePlus watch in limited edition with a focus on Harry Potter is apparently in the works. The six new dials that have been discovered include a silhouette of Hogwarts, the school's crest, and dials for Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff. These are accompanied by strings that mention "Harry Potter Limited Edition" by name.

The article goes on to say that 9to5Google has learned that the watch is only sold in Asia. The clock face previews include the coats of arms of the four Hogwarts houses, a silhouette of Hogwarts Castle, and the Hogwarts crest. It's also noteworthy that the Hogwarts crest dial appears to be the only one that resembles an analog clock.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince of the New Zealand Mint poster coin

There's one more magical Harry Potter collectible coin from the New Zealand Mint, and it's a one ounce silver coin with the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince poster on it! With a retail price of $ 95.00 (USD), it is also legal tender for mintage of as little as 5,000 coins.

Would you like to see it in more detail? Check out the New Zealand Mint video below.

Golden Gringotts merchandise from Universal Orlando Resort

If you need some gold without spending cash on coins, WDW News Today reports that Universal Orlando Resort is now selling a card holder, shoulder bag and mini backpack with a very shiny Gringotts theme in the Universal Studios store in CityWalk.

You can find all of the photos of the WDW News Today articles, but this thumbnail of the three shows that each has the same Gringotts coin images.

Universal Orlando Resort Hogwarts House passport covers

Also discovered by WDW News Today at the Universal Orlando Resort were four different passport covers, one for each of the Hogwarts homes!

You can see all of the photos of the passport sleeves in the WDW News Today article, but this photo shows what the four look like together. (Three of the four covers can also be seen in the background.) Each is slated for $ 28.00 each.
