On Werewolf Therapeutics' first day of trading, 1.3 million shares were moved at the time of writing. While we don't have a daily average to compare this to, it's still not smellable.

In the IPO of Werewolf Therapeutics, the company is offering up to 7.5 million shares of HOWL at a price of $ 16 each. The company expects gross proceeds from the IPO of approximately $ 120 million.

There is also a 30-day option for underwriters to purchase an additional 1,125,000 HOWL shares at the IPO price. Jefferies, SVB Leerink, and Evercore ISI act as joint book-running managers of the offer. HC Wainwright & Co. acts as lead manager for the IPO.

The Werewolf Therapeutics launches today with shares of HOWL stock listed on the Nasdaq Exchange. The offer should last until Tuesday.

What does Werewolf Therapeutics do?

Werewolf Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company that develops therapeutics that are designed to stimulate the body's immune system. These therapies would improve the body's ability to deal with cancer.

Werewolf Therapeutics' most advanced product candidates are the WTX-124 and WTX-330. These are conditionally activated interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin-12 (IL-12) INDUKINE molecules that have been developed to treat solid cancerous tumors.

Both therapies are still used for preclinical studies. The company says its goal is to advance each of them for treating multiple tumor types. They will also work in conjunction with immune checkpoint inhibitors.

HOWL stock rose 27.8% on Friday morning.

Werewolf Therapeutics is among several medical companies that have made headlines lately.
